🎨 Summer Rock Decorating  

Come and join us to decorate your very own summer rock!  This fun and creative activity is open to kids and teens.

Crafternoon summer series:  Glow in the Dark Craft!  Our wooden DIY craft kit comes with wood disks, paints, stickers, gems, ornaments and other supplies to make your own decorative glow-in-the-dark item!

Every Thursday afternoon NGPL hosts a drop in "Crafternoon" for kids. Drop into the children's room between 3:00 and 5:00 to participate. There will be a different craft activity each week.

Join us for Mahjong! Players of all abilities are welcome.

FREE Summer Grab and Go Meals for Kids Under 18.

The Stephentown Library will be distributing FREE Summer Meals to kids 18 years old and under.

Check out our Adult Coloring program! We have all kinds of markers and colored pencils and adult coloring books for you to use. Gather around the table and make new friends while enjoying some peaceful coloring.

Are you heading to Algonquin Middle School in the fall?  Then join us on July 24 at 6pm  for Christmas Eve in July to meet other 6th graders also going to AMS.  Watch holiday cartoons, make crafts and snacks, and meet new friends.

Professor Pickles World of Color!  A world of pure imagination waits, if ever the beloved reclusive inventor would open the doors to his factory.  Will he come out?  Will he find a group of kids worthy to meet?

This drop-in playtime is for children ages 0-5 and their grown-ups. Stop in to play and meet other families. All play supplies for the kids and coffee for the grown-ups will be provided.

Shrinky Dinks are a magical craft that lets you draw, design, and then watch your creations shrink and harden in the oven!

Our special indoor bowling game is set up exclusively in the Children’s Room—but there’s a twist: it’s only available when Ms. Sherry is here!

Storytime at the Library
Join us for 30 minutes of stories, songs, and a fun craft—designed to spark creativity, build early literacy skills, and support social development.

Learn the basic of sewing with local seamstress, Dianne Mosher!  She will teach us how to sew a simple project on a sewing machine.  All supplies will be provided.  Registration is encouraged but not required.  

Looking for a new job or a fresh career path? Rensselaer County Career Center will be here at the library once a month to help.

Join us Friday afternoons at the library for knitting, crocheting, sewing, conversation and more!  

Need help learning to turn on your computer, send an email, or make a Word document? Not sure how to get your email on your phone? Drop in to ask questions about your device. First come, first served.

Teens: Join us every 4th Friday for D&D! Each session is a one-shot campaign and pre-made characters are available. There's always lots of food.
