Do You Love a Good Mystery?

Since about 2009, a group has been meeting at the Cohoes Public Library on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 10:30 am to make new friends and to discuss one of the most beloved genres of all time – mysteries.

Chair Yoga: Thursday, September 18 at 10:00

Do you want to try Yoga but aren’t able to sit on the floor? This is the class for you! Chair Yoga will be held on the FIRST and THIRD Thursday of the month.

Children from birth to age 5 are invited to enjoy stories, rhymes, music, and movement!

Staff from the Rensselaer County Career Center will be at North Greenbush Public Library from 10 AM to 1 PM to work with individuals who are searching for jobs.  Drop in  

This drop-in playtime is for children ages 0-5 and their grown-ups. Stop in to play and meet other families. All play supplies for the kids and coffee for the grown-ups will be provided.

The Friends have a wide assortment of books, both kids and adults.  We also have many DVDs, and a few puzzles available.   Bag sale will be from 1 - 2pm.

Join us for a cozy and delicious program where we'll be making mini apple pie snacks! This fun and tasty activity is great for all ages. Come get creative in the kitchen and enjoy the sweet taste of fall—no baking experience needed!

Storytime at the Library
Join us for 30 minutes of stories, songs, and a fun craft—designed to spark creativity, build early literacy skills, and support social development.

Children and their guardians are welcome to join us every Tuesday morning at 11 AM for Storytime which includes stories, songs, games and a simple craft.  Storytime takes places in the Annex in North Greenbush Town Hall.

Wednesdays at 11am drop in for  storytime for preschoolers and their caregivers.  Stories, rhymes, and songs help little ones learn pre-reading skills.  Plus a simple craft to help practice fine motor skills.

Toddlers and preschool aged children, accompanied by their parent or caregiver, are welcome to join us on Thursdays from 11 am-12pm for arts & crafts, stories, songs, nursery rhymes and snacks!

Join us for a matinee movie showing of "Ponyo" at 11:30 am with free popcorn!

Enjoy a 50 minute video-led dance class, all are welcome!  If you've done a Zumba class, you'll fit right in.  First class is free,  we encourage a $5 donation to the library for subsequent classes.

Join the lively Beau-Knitters group, a community of knitting and crocheting enthusiasts where all experience levels are welcome. Enjoy the camaraderie, stay for the creative vibes! No experience, cost, or registration fee required.

Every Thursday afternoon NGPL hosts a drop in "Crafternoon" for kids. Drop into the children's room between 3:00 and 5:00 to participate. There will be a different craft activity each week.
