Since about 2009, a group has been meeting at the Cohoes Public Library on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 10:30 am to make new friends and to discuss one of the most beloved genres of all time – mysteries.

Join us the third Wednesday of each month for a book discussion! This month's selection is First Lie Wins by Ashley Elston. Books are available at the front desk.

Just Write!, SL Town Library's writing group meets twice a month Sept. - June to fine tune their written works, whether it be memoir, poetry, fiction, etc.  If interested, please call to be added to the waiting list.

Six classes that will get you started writing your memoir.  It's a chance to develop your writing voice and begin putting your memories on paper.  Classes are on Wednesdays from 1-3 at the Sand Lake Town Library.

Join us every fourth Wednesday from 4:00PM to 5:00PM for a discussion about this month's book. In Februart, we are reading The Women by Kristin Hannah. There will be tea and snacks!

Catherine author of the picture book, ONE OF THIRTEEN, was inspired by her mother who grew up in Maplewood, NY in the 1940s. A fictional story for all ages, this local story involves a train and a large family.
