Create your own unique beaded bracelet. Choose from a variety of colorful and alphabet beads and design a one-of-a-kind accessory. 

Recommended ages 8 and up. Younger children welcome with an adult participant. In this exciting STEM activity, kids can create their own bouncy ball using simple ingredients like borax, cornstarch, and glue.

Join us every Friday for LEGO building challenges and board games! Bring your friends, pick a game, and have some fun!

Join us Friday afternoons at the library for knitting, crocheting, sewing, conversation and more!  

This drop-in playtime is for children ages 0-5 and their grown-ups. Stop in to play and meet other families. All play supplies for the kids and coffee for the grown-ups will be provided. 

A new school year is coming! Join us for some school-themed crafts at the library.

Enjoy a 50 minute video-led dance class, all are welcome!  If you've done a Zumba class, you'll fit right in.  First class is free,  we encourage a $5 donation to the library for subsequent classes.

Tuesday is Storytime Day at Altamont Free Library! Join Ms. Meg for a super fun morning of stories, songs, movement, and crafts every Tuesday morning in the Community Room at AFL (or on the library patio if the weather is nice)!

In Stitches is our knitting and crochet group that meets every Wednesday at 6pm. Members include seasoned crafters and complete beginners. Our group is excited to teach new comers!
