Join us every Wednesday at 10:30AM for Songs & Stories! Each week's storytime has a different theme.

Do You Love a Good Mystery?

Since about 2009, a group has been meeting at the Cohoes Public Library on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 10:30 am to make new friends and to discuss one of the most beloved genres of all time – mysteries.

Wear your PJs to this special edition of Learn & Play Storytime and stay for hot cocoa with fun toppings afterward! 

We'll provide the supplies, you bring the creativity! Design a bookmark on our blank template and new designs will be used throughout the year at our circulation desk!

This drop-in playtime is for children ages 0-5 and their grownups. Stop in to play and meet other families. All play supplies for the kids and coffee for the grownups will be provided.

Get creative while designing a glowing paper bag luminary to light up the night!

Starts on the hour at 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00. Join us for a guided child-and-caregiver cooking class! This month, we'll be making bagels using only two ingredients!

Tweens and teens ages 10-18 are invited to join us for a hands-on sewing workshop! Participants will learn the basics of using a sewing machine and create their very own zipper pouch to take home. No experience needed—just bring your creativity!

Recommended for ages 8 and up. Have you ever dreamt of taking flight? Learn all about aviation concepts, careers, and opportunities with the NY Capital Region 99s in this high-flying event!

Every Wednesday from 3-5 we are inviting crafters, artists, and needleworkers of all types and abilities to our social circle to craft together. Bring your own project. Tea and cookies will be provided.

STEAM activities after school. Homework Help is available during program.

In Stitches is our knitting and crochet group that meets every Wednesday at 6pm. Members include seasoned crafters and complete beginners. Our group is excited to teach new comers!

Our D&D West Marches-style campaign for adults using 5e 2014 rules starts on October 15th at 6:00PM.

Monthly meeting of the library's Board of Trustees. Members of the public are welcome to attend. 

All are welcome to join us for the monthly meeting of the Stephentown Memorial Library Board of Trustees. Attendees can join in person at the library on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00.
