Stories, songs, & crafts geared for ages infant-5 years old. 

Children from birth to age 5 are invited to enjoy stories, rhymes, music, and movement!

This drop-in playtime is for children ages 0-5 and their grown-ups. Stop in to play and meet other families. All play supplies for the kids and coffee for the grown-ups will be provided.

Storytime at the Library
Join us for 30 minutes of stories, songs, and a fun craft—designed to spark creativity, build early literacy skills, and support social development.

Children and their guardians are welcome to join us every Tuesday morning at 11 AM for Storytime which includes stories, songs, games and a simple craft.  Storytime takes places in the Annex in North Greenbush Town Hall.

Bring your phone/tablet/laptop and your questions.  Digital Lit Educator Michelle St. Louis will be here to answer your questions and help you get more out of your devices.  Call 518-674-5050 to register.

Toddlers and preschool aged children, accompanied by their parent or caregiver, are welcome to join us on Thursdays from 11 am-12pm for arts & crafts, stories, songs, nursery rhymes and snacks!

Join us at the Cohoes Public Library for Trivia Day with That Trivia Guy! You will need a phone, brains and humor. Play as a team or as a team of 1. Questions start simple and will work up to challenging. Prizes available to those who win!

Learn the basics of quilling (coiling/shaping thin strips of colorful paper) to create a unique flowerscape on a 4x6 card suitable for mailing or framing.

Stop in to meet local equine and landscape artist Sandra Monahan.  Sandra has been painting professionally for over 35 years and has had her work  in equine publications and at juried art shows.

Musicians and poets - come share your talents! All ages welcome to perform and to watch.

In Stitches is our knitting and crochet group that meets every Wednesday at 6pm. Members include seasoned crafters and complete beginners. Our group is excited to teach new comers!

Emily Brache will introduce the benefits of yoga for health, mind, body, and spirit. $5/class suggested donation. Please bring a yoga mat.  Registration is required for each class.
