Every Wednesday from 3-5 we are inviting crafters, artists, and needleworkers of all types and abilities to our social circle to craft together. Bring your own project. Tea and cookies will be provided.

In Stitches is our knitting and crochet group that meets every Wednesday at 6pm. Members include seasoned crafters and complete beginners. Our group is excited to teach new comers!

STEAM activities after school. Homework Help is available during program.

The Watervliet Library loves Valentine's Day. This year, we're making heart wreaths for you to hang in your home year after year. Materials provided. Registration required. 

Children's book author, Francine Dingeman will be doing a reading storytime of her book "The Animal Menagerie", an enchanting A to Z picture book filled with captivating characters from the animal kingdom for children ages 4-7.

Thousands of libraries across the world celebrate Take Your Child to the Library Day! Join us for a special storytime and family craft on this special day.

We'll have our big bins of Legos out for this all-day build-a-thon!

For ages 16 and up. Join us for our monthly Fiber Arts Workshop! Whether you're new to knitting and crochet or a seasoned fiber artist, this is the perfect place to share and create in a friendly environment. All skill levels welcome!

Explore a world of color with our Spin Art and Spirograph tools! Recommended for ages 5 and up; younger children welcome with an adult's help.

A fun gathering of people who knit, crochet, sew, spin...whatever works for you!  Come and spend a quiet time in the library after hours with others who do the same.  Refreshments will be available.

Tweens and teens ages 10-18 are invited to join us for a hands-on sewing workshop! Participants will learn the basics of using a sewing machine and create their very own zipper pouch to take home. No experience needed—just bring your creativity!
