Tie Dying at SML: Saturday, July 26 at 11:00

Let's get colorful at the library! We will have everything that you need to tie dye large cotton bags. If you'd like to tie dye a t-shirt or any other item, please bring it with you.

Come to the library for a day of endless imaginative play! The large foam blocks are just right for creative construction and pretend play for any age.

You're invited to join the world's largest treasure hunt!  Bring an adult (you'll need a smartphone) and meet us at the library for an introduction to geocaching, and guaranteed, you'll find your first geocache before the session is over!

Create vibrant, oversized tissue paper flowers that make a bold statement at any event or in your home. Easy to make and full of color, they're the perfect way to brighten any space.

Book lovers unite! Create a fun wearable button to let everyone know about your love for reading.

The Stephentown Library will be distributing FREE Summer Meals to kids 18 years old and under.

Backyard Science summer series:  Balloon Blow Up!  See how common kitchen ingredients can be combined to make a gas that will blow up a balloon.  Isn't science great?

Come and join us to decorate your very own summer rock!  This fun and creative activity is open to kids and teens.

Come by the library for our Collaborative Puzzle Mural to be displayed in the library!  Each participant is welcome to design their own piece of the puzzle.

Write original songs with a group of peers, and record them with a real band. Have your song played on the radio! Space is limited so please email Nick at director@diverlibrary.org to sign-up.

Movie Night at the Valley Falls Free Library!  Let the colors continue:  Tonight it's "Red Dawn".  Popcorn and bottled water provided!

Turn an old T-shirt into a stylish and personalized, no-sew tote bag. Join us for this fun, eco-friendly craft. Bring a favorite old t-shirt to repurpose or choose from an available assortment at the library.

July 24th- Sewing Machine Basics

Sarah is joining us from the Troy Sew Shop to explain how to mend clothes! Participants are encoraged to bring one or two items with them that they would like advice about. Registration is requaired and all materials will be provided.
