Join Miss Jen for yoga for youngsters age 3 and up on Tuesdays at 11am through August 19.  Bring a yoga mat or bath towel.  It's fun, it's social, and it's a great way to introduce kids to the calming benefits of yoga.

Enjoy a 50 minute video-led dance class, all are welcome!  If you've done a Zumba class, you'll fit right in.  First class is free,  we encourage a $5 donation to the library for subsequent classes.

Baby Café: Last Tuesday of the Month at 12:30

Baby Café, a great support group for breastfeeding moms and their partners is back at SML.

This boat-building STEM project encourages children to design and construct their own floating vessels using materials like paper, foil, or recycled items. See how far your boat can go or how much weight it can carry.

Are you excited for a summer full of fun and creativity? As part of our Summer Reading Program, the library is sponsoring five performances for local children that celebrate the dynamic nature of the arts.

Nicholas Fiacco, a representative from Rensselaer Country Department of Employment and Training will be at the library on Tuesday, July 29th from 2-4 pm to assistant individuals in reaching their career goals.

Weekly summer craft for elementary age children (5-12). Make art and have fun! Please sign up so that we can determine what supplies we need.

We’ll make rainbow colored inspired snacks and artwork! 

Messy Play includes fingerpainting, sidewalk chalk, sensory bags, paper mâché, slime.

Maker Space includes beading, foil crafts, paper mâché, paper bead making, paper crafts, watercolor painting, plastic lace crafts

Backyard Science summer series:  Balloon Blow Up!  See how common kitchen ingredients can be combined to make a gas that will blow up a balloon.  Isn't science great?

In conjunction with Messy Play/Maker Space. A chance for caregivers to relax and socialize, while the Littles create and play.

Drop in between 3:30pm and 6pm to build.  We supply the legos, you supply the imagination!

Let's enjoy the sun staying out longer with an outdoor storytime geared toward ages birth to age 8! We'll read stories, engage in music and movement, and have time for nature discovery on the library's front lawn!

Join us for an indoor yoga class geared toward adult beginners, with instructor Barbara Hacker. Please bring your own mat.
