Computer Essentials: Mondays and Tuesdays, July 7 and August 5, 9:30am - 11:00am

This 5-week/10 session course covers the essentials of how to use the basic functions of a personal computer, how to navigate the internet, a

Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30. Join us for books, movement, singing, and play! Geared towards ages 0-5, but all are welcome. 

Enjoy a 50 minute video-led dance class, all are welcome!  If you've done a Zumba class, you'll fit right in.  First class is free,  we encourage a $5 donation to the library for subsequent classes.

Lindsay Sprague of Winterberry Homestead will bring her “Traveling Farm” to our library! We’ll get to meet, pet, and learn about her farm animals.

🎨 Summer Rock Decorating  

Come and join us to decorate your very own summer rock!  This fun and creative activity is open to kids and teens.

Weekly summer craft for elementary age children (5-12). Make art and have fun! Please sign up so that we can determine what supplies we need.

Messy Play includes fingerpainting, sidewalk chalk, sensory bags, paper mâché, slime.

Maker Space includes beading, foil crafts, paper mâché, paper bead making, paper crafts, watercolor painting, plastic lace crafts

Let’s learn how to spin Angora Rabbit fiber using recycled drop spindles. And yes, the rabbits will be here to brush and pet! RSVP

Backyard Science summer series:  Fluffy Slime!  Who doesn't love slime?  And this time, we're making a fluffy version.  Pick a color and let's make some slime!

In conjunction with Messy Play/Maker Space. A chance for caregivers to relax and socialize, while the Littles create and play.

Rensselaerville musician and educator, Margaret Jean Bernstein, will help children explore the correlation between sound and color through playing musical instruments and reading stories in this engaging workshop.

Drop in between 3:30pm and 6pm to build.  We supply the legos, you supply the imagination!

Meet the animals on the farm with Winterberry Homestead! Learn more about agriculture and organic management techniques while meeting and petting your favorite farm animals.

Join us for a monthly book club at SML. We meet on the third Thursday of every month. 

With severe weather events becoming more frequent and more extreme, it is more important than ever that New Yorkers are prepared for disasters.

Let's enjoy the sun staying out longer with an outdoor storytime geared toward ages birth to age 8! We'll read stories, engage in music and movement, and have time for nature discovery on the library's front lawn!
