Come be a scientist with author Anita Sanchez.

Imagine yourself back in time, in the age of the ancient cave painters. We’ll examine many geological specimens, look for fossils, and compare the shapes and colors of different varieties of rocks and minerals. Then we’ll use soil to “paint with dirt” and create artworks based on ancient cave paintings. Participants will leave with a few rock specimens to start their own collections. Please sign up. Ages 5 and up.
