Fashion Historian Jennifer Farley Gordon will discuss how an understanding of changing women's wear clothing styles can help you to date your old family photos. The program will cover basic changes in silhouette and fashion details from 1840 until 1950. Given the popular interest in exploring family histories, this program aims to provide another tool to aid amateur genealogists in their research. Attendees are welcome to bring a photo to discuss.
